Every user in Ashler is assigned a role that defines what they can do in the platform and whether their seat is billable. Roles determine access to project workflows, data, and collaboration features across your workspace.

Role Types

• Builder — Core users who create, edit, and manage proposal, bid, and inspection workflows and require access to the entire platform
• Contributor — User who requires access to three or fewer modules
• Viewer — Users who view require read access to review resumes, project history, require upload capabilities

Builder seats are paid seats. Contributor seats are paid seats. Viewer seats may be free or paid depending on your Ashler plan.
